Top ten richest football clubs

Real Madrid and Barcelona have been ranked as the top two richest football clubs in the World for 2012 by Deloitte. Madrid remain on top for the eighth consecutive year and the first team to break the €500 million mark.
“It is an impressive achievement for Real Madrid to have surpassed €500m in revenue in a single year. Real have led the way in the phenomenal rate of revenue growth achieved by the game’s top clubs,” Dan Jones, Partner in the Sports Business Group at Deloitte said.
The top 10 features five English clubs, with Manchester City jumping five places into 7th position.

Overall, the revenue of the top 20 clubs in the list rose 10% to €4.8 billion.
