Korede bello strikes a pose with Dangote


Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote may just be willing to stash up some of his billions into the music industry, who knows!.

Sometime last year, the business mogul was seen in the exquisite of one half of the P-Square brothers and of course it made headlines.
This time Mr Dangote strikes a pose with Mavin’s finest, Korede Bello.
Korede made a post via Instagram tagging it; Belloved March 11.
Seems 11th of March would be the release date of Korede’s much anticipated album dubbed “Belloved”, but we will just have to keep our fingers crossed and wait patiently.

Nigerian gay couple sentenced to 6yrs in prison

A Minna Magistrates’ Court has sentenced two blind men to six years imprisonment for sexually abusing two minors in Niger. The Magistrate, Hajiya Hauwa Yusuf, convicted, Idris Usman, popularly called “Bagobiri ” and Abubakar Sadiq, after they pleaded guilty to the charge. The Prosecutor, Abdullahi Mayaki, had told the court that the convicts committed the offence in December, 2016. He said that the convicts had lured the 12-year-old and 10-year-old minors with N50 and N100 and sexually abused them. The offence contravened Section 19 of the Niger state Child Right Law, which on conviction attracts 14 years imprisonment. The Director-General of the state Child Rights Agency, Hajiya Mairam kolo, expressed satisfaction with the six years imprisonment without an option of fine. Kolo commended the Magistrate for ensuring that justice was served and warned people to desist from such unholy act. One word for them!

Hollywood legend & Harry Porter actor John Hurt dies at 77

British actor, John Hurt who garnered Oscar nominations for his roles in "Midnight Express" and "The Elephant Man," has died at the age of 77, his agent confirmed this morning. He died yesterday Jan. 27th in London just 5 days after his 77th birthday. Hurt worked more than six decades in television, movies and voice work in England and the United States. He recently played a priest who counsels Jacqueline Kennedy in last year's biopic "Jackie". Mourning him, actor Kiefer Sutherland tweeted: "My deepest sympathies to John Hurt's family, friends and fans. He was a dear friend." Nnamdi Kanu: Striking out of charges was an act of God – IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has described the striking out of some charges against its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as an act of God. In a statement issued yesterday by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, the group explained that the struggle for the restoration of Biafra was ordained by God. The pro-Biafra group described the outcome Kanu’s trial which saw an Abuja Federal High Court striking out six of the 11 charges levelled against him as the handwork of God. IPOB called on its members to remain resolute in the quest for the restoration of the Republic of Biafra.
