10 artist Davido made famous (shocking)!!!!


Davido aka OBO might not be a legend yet in Nigerian music but his achievement can’t be overstated.
The 24 year old in a very short time in the music business has been able to put many Nigerian music stars on the map.

Most of those he put on the map have gone on to be megastars of their own and some of them are even his rivals today. Let’s take a look at the 7 music stars Davido brought to limelight!

1. Runtown
Runtown gathered airplay when he released Party Like 1980 but his big break didn’t come until he got a verse from Davido.
The HKN chief laced Runtown’s biggest hit,
Gallardo with one of his best verses and the Eric Many artiste has gone on to become a star of his own.

2. Lil Kesh
Olamide signed Lil Kesh, but the man that put him on our playlist is Davido .
Davido remixed Shoki at his peak and his verse is the best on the song. Davido didn’t stop there!
He rooted for Lil Kesh at several award shows, gives him shout out on his social media pages and more.

3. Tekno
Before Tekno got signed to Triple MG, before Duro, before Wash there was Holiday which featured Davido .
Tekno managed to get the attention of people like me with Holiday and made it to big radio stations and more.
Davido deserves all the pride he has right now!

4. Burna Boy
Before Burna Boy became a household name, he featured Davido on a song tagged Trumpet.
Trumpet was the most successful song on Burna Boy’s mixtape Burn Identity 2.
Following the success of Trumpet, Burna Boy went on to release Like To Party and he has been dishing out Hits upon hits ever since.

5. Diamond Platnumz
Tanzanian music powerhouse Diamond Platnumz was popular in his home country but not in Africa. His superstar status came after Davido remixed his hit single Number One.
Diamond got so big he became Davido’s rival.
The relationship of the two right now is unknown but they had a major beef in 2015

6. MC Galaxy

Don’t lie, do you know MC Galaxy before Nek Unek? The answer is probably NO.
Davido managed to get MC Galaxy his first career hit with Nek Unek and ever since their relationship has been a moody type.
Davido reportedly beat up MC Galaxy at a studio last year. May your role models become your rivals. Amen?

7. Humblesmith

Humblesmith is the latest entry to the list.
Humblesmith was relatively unknown to most until he got the blessing of DMW’s boss, Davido.
Davido got downloads and streams for Humblesmith by addressing his baby mama drama on Osinachi remix. Something he could have done on his own song.
Aftermath of Osinachi Remix featuring Davido, Humblesmith has since proved to us that he’s here to say by giving us hits upon hits.

Chocolate city owner to be prosecuted (this is why)

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State says the Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori , and others will be prosecuted for their roles in the Southern Kaduna crisis, while fielding questions at the “Technology as a Policy Imperative” session at the Social Media Week, Lagos 2017, on Friday. 2 kidnappers escape death in Abia state(see photos)

It was a bad day in the office for two suspected kidnappers in Umuahia, the Abia State capital after they were caught trying to abduct a child. According to a Facebook user wreported the incident, the suspects, a man, and a woman, were caught while trying to steal the child from her mother's shop along the Umuahia/Owerri road and an alarm was raised. In a jiffy, an angry mob had gathered and gave them a chase before they could escape. They were stripped naked and given the beating of their lives. The mob was said to be bent of setting the suspects on fire before a police team was called in and they were rescued and whisked away to a station.
